What did home sound like when you were little?
“Mum always had the radio on in the kitchen. Dad would whistle along, usually out of tune. On Sundays, you could hear the kettle before anyone said a word.”
The radio. Dad’s whistling. The kettle on a Sunday morning.
In the intended interview, you can speak naturally and skip questions. This screen does not record audio.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT WONDER
Before you
say hello.
Can I use the full service yet?
This is the HelloYears website preview. Account access, live interviews and memoir generation are not connected to this site yet. You can explore the scripted examples and download a sample without creating an account.
Is this only for parents and grandparents?
We’re starting with life stories and family memoirs. Anyone with memories to share can have a story worth keeping.
Will the AI make up parts of my story?
The intended workflow uses your shared memories as the source. AI writing can still introduce errors, so every draft needs your review before it becomes a finished memoir.
Can I order a printed book?
Not yet. Printed memoirs are a future option we’re exploring. The cover shown here is illustrative; this preview does not take orders or payments.
Are these photos and stories from real customers?
No. The family and book photographs are AI-generated concept imagery. The interview examples are fictional and prewritten. They explain the intended experience and do not represent customer testimonials or a printed product available to order.
Does the preview record me or save my answers?
No. This preview does not access your microphone, ask for personal stories, or send answers to an AI service. Its examples are prewritten. Hosting providers may process ordinary request logs.
